We all fancy ourselves as a DIY pro – and why not? Many jobs are relatively simple to undertake and with a bit of research and common sense there are a lot of jobs which are not beyond our reach. Although I say this, it is important to know when to hand a job over to a professional handyman. Certainly when it comes gas issues, a qualified Gas Safe engineer is essential. Electrics can also be dangerous in the hands of someone unqualified. We suggest leaving any electrics beyond changing a bulb or simply rewiring a plug to a professional electrician. So for those jobs that we can do ourselves, what are the essential tools that we should all have?
