On 19th May, the Broughton Astley Neighbourhood Policing team will offering a free event to inform people about the importance of using “Immobilise”.

If you are not familiar with it, Immobilise allows you to register items such as mobile phones and, most importantly for the handyman, tools and work materials in a database.

Immobilise, CheckMEND and the NMPR aim to make sure stolen items are not only prevented from being sold on, but also returned to their rightful owner. Find out more.

The Little Hammer’s latest adventure has taken him to the beautiful French département of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.

Here he visited a small commune called Gordes. This settlement forms part of the Luberon Valley (sometimes also known as the Valley of the Calavon) .

Here’s the Little Hammer enjoying a breathtaking view of the Château de Gordes. This 11th century fortress is now a protected monument.

What is ‘MyHammer on Tour’?

“MyHammer on Tour” is a light-hearted look at some of the world’s most intriguing and well-known sites and cites. This just-for-fun concept was borne of MyHammer employees sharing their holiday photos – and the idea came about to start bringing the little hammer along.

The worldly little hammer has been to cities and countries galore: Crete, Israel, Rome, Frankfurt, Paris, Turkey, Cracow and Amsterdam, to name a few – and along the way, has become the MyHammer mascot.
