The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) will be holding various events throughout the UK on 8th February, 2012.
A Health and Safety Executive (HSE) talk will be held at the Aztec Hotel in Bristol. The cost is £5 for CIOB members, and £10 for non-members. Attendees will receive advice on the topics of “…working at heights, welfare, respiratory risks, asbestos, temporary works and MEWP‘s” as well and a Q&A period. Find out more about this event here. Shield Environmental will deliver a presentation on asbestos in the construction industry. This will be held at the Holiday Inn in Swindon. As with the HSE Talk, this event is £5 for CIOB members and £10 for non-members. Find out more here. Download the event flyer (.pdf) here.
